Just a couple of kilometres from St. Neot's, Carnglaze Caverns are the result of years of local slate mining. Three underground caverns and a tour lasting 45 minutes will take you 60m underground and 150m into the hillside. Beautiful colours and a spectacularly blue-green subterranean lake make this a truly wonderful place. Other attractions at Carnglaze Caverns is the Enchanted Dell, a place where fairies, mushrooms and even a dragon look comfortably at home. Also on site is the Rum Store which stocked the Royal Navy's supply in WWII. The subterranean venue now holds concerts and private functions.

Located in St Mawes, Lamorran Gardens looks out to St Anthony's Head and lighthouse. Planted in 1982, Lamorran Gardens is inspired by Mediterranean and Japanese influences. Water features are ever present throughout this landscape both as a backdrop and in the form of pools and running streams. On your tour of Lamorran Gardens, you'll be able to explore I Gardini Secreti and other intimately secluded areas. More attractions here include a Japanese water-garden, a wishing well, woodland areas, temples, archways and bridges.
St Mawes Ferry offers regular services to Falmouth as well as evening aqua cabs. Attractions to see in St Mawes include St Mawes Castle and Lamorran Castle. Located in the fishing harbour of Mevagissey in St Austell Bay, the Mevagissey Sailing School offers a range of courses from beginners to yacht master and other specialist RYA courses.
A multi-award winning attraction, Lobbs Farm Shop is located in the main carpark of the Lost Gardens of Heligan. The visitor centre displays exhibits on land rotation, animal life cycles, environment protection and wildlife heritage. You can also take a Farm Tour (40 minutes) and get a glimpse into life on a real working farm.
The only steam operated standard gauge railway in Cornwall, the Bodmin and Wenford Railway will take you through thirteen miles of colourful countryside. On your tour, you'll stop at Bodmin General Station where you'll be able to see repair work being carried out on locomotives. The next stop at Boscarne Junction will stop you close to the Camel Trail which is an old trackbed running from Wadebridge to Wenfordbridge. O'Neill Surf Academy offers a range of courses from Introduction to Pro Rider Days. Choose the course that suits you from individual to small group and group surfing lessons. Alternatively, try a Newquay sunset surf or have a go on a long board.
The National Surfing Centre offers professional surf coaching by qualified instructors. Owned by the British Surfing Association, the centre promises you a high level of coaching and equipment. Levels range from beginner to Advanced Level Competitor. Your instructors are fully qualified lifeguards and B.S.A. accredited instructors.
Approved by the British Horse Society and a member of the Association of British Riding Schools, Newquay Riding Stables offer individual and group riding lessons for children and adults.
